Yamaki 12 String Guitar Neck Joint

Let this be a cautionary tale to anyone who tries to work on a Yamaki guitar from Japan. This specific one is a 12 string from the mid 1970s. The guitar is built with this yellow glue that holds very, very well and does not like to come out clean. The guitar also does not have a dovetail as the neck is attached with dowel rods.

Resetting this neck will involve sawing the neck off and reattaching it but I'm going to look towards trying to make a bridge to work with the current neck angle
